A very beautiful couple, photographed in a very beautiful place. Corrine and Chuck whose wedding we will photograph next year is one of those couples that Julia and I fell in love with. As we sat around prior to the engagement session we almost let the gorgeous sunlight slip by us. We were having such a great time talking and enjoying a great bottle of Chardonnay. Not to mention the beautiful Solage (the placed Chucked proposed to Corrine) as the backdrop of the session. So here is to a wonderful couple and to the beauty of Napa Valley!

Even though the weather was not what Case and Liz had in mind as they were dreaming of their wedding day, it still goes without saying that the love can prevail even through the rain. Their love was very evident throughout the day as Julia and I took them around Peoria to find places to photograph a wonderful couple (without getting drenched). One of the stops was one of their favorite places to go and unwind. They both have a huge love for sports and we wanted that to be seen in the images. I am not sure every bride thinks, "hey can we go to Buffalo Wild Wings?" on our wedding day. However, I am sure every groom wishes his wife would say that. So, with that being said, Case your a lucky man!  Not to mention, all the nice people at BWW that wanted to buy them a drink.  One guy who actually did.  I have known Case for most of my life as we were teamates on the basketball court. I can assure you this,  Case is one of the greatest guys I have known.  He always think of others before himself.  I think Liz is in very good hands. We wish you both all the best in your new life together.

Rick and Danielle have been together since their high school days and like fine wine their love has grown to be something special.  I have seen many grooms in my day, but I don't think I have seen a groom that takes care of his woman, better than Rick. He absolutely adores his bride. You could just see it throughout the whole day. The way he carried her dress, open EVERY door, and I don't think he let an hour go by without expressing his love to her. It made me realize how much I lack in that department myself.

It was not only a beautiful wedding but it was a celebration! If anyone knows how to throw a party it's a group of Italians! With a cannoli bar and espresso this party had all the details. The party lasted into the morning, even with U2 playing right next door, at Soldier Field. Nothing could stop the party inside the Chicago Planetarium.  Bono and U2 said it best by singing "It's a Beautiful Day".

We really enjoyed working with Lisa from A Personal Touch event planning. It was the first time we have had a chance to work together and she did an outstanding job with this wedding.

I didnt think it would be possible to capture the love that you could FEEL radiating off of Danielle and Rick on their wedding day, but you managed to do it and they will be able to look at these stunning photographs for years to come.

Nick & Annie found a special place in our hearts from the first time we met them.  They like Julia & I, are one of the growing number of couples that work together.  They create beautiful letter press paper products.  The details of their wedding stationary from the save the dates,  wedding invitations, and all the paper elements of the reception were beautifully hand crafted by the couple themselves. We will be presenting some of their work in the near future right here on our blog.

It all laid a elegant foundation for these two wonderful people to committed their hearts to each other in front of all their friends and families at the Gary Memorial United Methodist Church in Wheaton IL.  Their celebration lasted long into the evening at Arrowhead Country Club.

We wish Nick & Annie continued love and respect as they walk through the journey of life together! We hope you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed photographing them.

What a beautiful day as Fiona, an Irish beauty married her American beau, Brian.  It was fairy tale like as the bride kept true to Irish tradition and was escorted from her home, with her father to the church, in a majestic Rolls Royce.  The ceremony was very elegant and unique as the brides side of church was adorned with hats atop the many Irish guest that traveled from Ireland for the celebration.  With fourteen attendants on each side, four ushers, and two adorable flower girls, there was plenty of fun to go around.

The night was action packed as Fiona kicked off the evening at the Drake Hotel with a special surprise for her new groom.  The Chicago Cubs Brass Quartet filled the air of the cocktail hour.  The ballroom at the Drake was breathtaking with thousands of white roses, crystal vases, and a star light backdrop atop the band.  It truly was a celebration to remember.

The best part of all was that all the beautiful details did not out shine the couples love for each other.  Brian and Fiona are perfect for each other.  We wish them all the best and a little bit of Irish luck!
