Jason and Maria was such an wonderful couple to photograph. We loved the way Jason could make Maria laugh by really saying nothing. This wedding was all about their love and relationship (which is the way it should be). Their love was really simple and they allowed us to capture that as a silent witness through our lenses. We wish them all the best in their new life together.

The wedding took place in Peoria with a reception following at Mt. Hawley Country Club. Flowers were done by ScottWood Floral.

This was also a first for Julia and I in working with event planner Sara O'Shea from So Chic Events . Sara and her staff did a wonderful job and we look forward to working with her again in the near future.

We are trying something different with our love inspired showcase. Leave us your thoughts and tell us what you think.

Julia and I have heard just about every marriage proposal known to man. However we have never heard we met while running during a marathon. Well thats a new one for a book that we need to write one of these days. Rebecca has been such a long time client of ours and every year her and Rylie (her two year old daughter) come in Christmas cards. One day she walked in and  looked really excited.  She could hardly contain her excitement. Well Pat was that reason. She told Pat above everything else pictures are the most important. I am not making this up!! Over the year we have gotten to know Pat and we have to say we approve! weddingblog3.jpg

Michael and Michelle meet on the mission field in Africa (hence the zebra shoes). They were married in Chicago @ a new reception venue called A New Leaf. A pretty cool venue with a lofty feel. The young couple will continue to do missions work and we wish them all the best of luck in their adventures together. With this wedding we will not be doing a love inspired showcase. Instead we shot actual super 8 film for a new product line called Black Label. This is something new we are offering to our brides. So stay tuned in the next couple weeks and see what we are up to next!

We are so excited for Kathleen and Tyson, and to see their wedding get published. Congrats to all the wedding vendors involved to make this a special event. Also how could we forget the Mother of the Bride (Diane) who put so much of her heart and soul into this beautiful winter wedding. Julia and I were so honored to be able to photograph not only a special wedding but such a beautiful and wonderful couple. This couple was a photographers dream and a class act. You can pick up a copy at newsstands everywhere or check out http://www.brides.com/. If you know the bride and groom leave a comment.

What a beautiful day for a wedding and such a wonderful couple. Joe and Stacey had one thing on their mind when planning this wedding and that was to CELEBRATE! This was one of the weddings where the dance floor was packed the whole night. Joe and Stacey had one of the best wedding bands around Indigo from out of Chicago. Beth Maxwell from Save the Date designed another extra-ordinary event. Scott from Sound and Light Creations created the mood with lighting. Bob Moniers arranged the beautiful flowers.

The bride and groom wanted the guest to have so much fun and I can tell you they did. The party finally concluded around 3:00 am.
