Julia and I have open up dates for our Marriage and Business Confrence called ONE. Last year was so much fun that many you have asked us when are we doing it again. Well the dates are Sept 21-23 2009. Location will be at Venue Art Gallery and Wine Bar located right above the Portraitlife Studio. You can go to the website to find out more about ONE. A new line up of speakers will be annouced soon. We are very excited to have you attend and get involved.

Imaging USA

It is that time of year again where Julia and I will be traveling extensively with our speaking. It is such an honor to be asked to help inspire and give back to our industry. If you are a photographaer and you are attending Imaging USA, Julia and I would love the opportunity to say, "hi"! Julia has a pretty busy schedule, but seeing familiar faces is always a bonus (especially for her big presentation on Sunday evening at 5:00 pm in the theatre.) Below is our speaking schedule.

We are excited to release some brand new concepts for photographers including a DVD of a "live" planning, shooting, and selling session that many of you have been requesting for a very long time. The new concepts will be available at Imaging USA and through our website www.theneedtochange.com.

Finishing out Seniors 09

Julia and I love to photograph seniors. They inspire us and motivate us to be different. We enjoy spending time with them and their families. With four young ones at home we know our day is coming. We still manage to keep shooting seniors even if the weather outside is not very friendly. I thought I would share some recent sessions. Three beautiful girls with a great future ahead of them. It reminds me of a great saying that a good friend of mine once said to me "Your only young once, but once is enough if you do it right."

Sparkle @ Venue NYE

To all our local friends and those around the world (if your in the neighborhood). Be a part of the first ever NYE party's at Venue and hopefully many more to come. Enjoy the new wine flights (specially selected for this event) and music of recording artist Lukas Q and DJ Jones who will be flipping the wax into the new year. Doors open @ 8:00pm Limited space is available and reservastions are required. For more info contact Steph and Tiff at VENUE. It will be a great way to bring in the new year. If your not familiar with Venue well there is no better time. Venue is located above the PortraitLife Studio on the historic square in Washington, Il.
