Class & elegance were prevalent through every aspect of Nick & Alex's wedding. From her amazing dress, the strands of grandma's pearls that hung from her neck, the doves that filled the air, the linens that draped the Country Club of Peoria, and most importantly -  the relationships with family and friends, each element was nothing short of impressive.

Watching the mother and grandmother cry as Alex walked down the isle was so emotional even for us (we started to tear up). In the best man's toast he not only thank Nick for being the best brother and for allowing him to hang out with him as a little kid, even though he was quit younger, but he also thanked the parents for teaching them how to respect life and each other. As a father of four children I can only hope that my children share that same enthusiasm. While the wedding exuded style, it was moments of emotion and love that will never be forgotten.

Want to see more? Check out the ~love inspired showcase~. Stay tune in the next few weeks. We will be showcasing the beautiful wedding of Nick and Alex with our Black Label Project. Cant wait to finish it, one thing technology cant do is speed up developing super 8 film, but thats the way we like it and I think you will agree when you see theirs.

Standing ovation goes out to the Beth Maxwell of Save the Date for putting together another beautiful wedding. We love to work with Beth she brings on so much inspiration and it shows in these images.SAVETHEDATE.jpg

This couple holds a pretty special place in our hearts. They were both photographed by us when they were high school seniors. They have been together that long and everytime we see them they seem to be more in love than ever. They both have a love affair for vintage and being unique. Brittany's gifts where definitely showcased through all the details she created for her wedding and reception.  She had some special helpers including the mother of the groom (Toni) and some of her VIP friends who helped Brittany's carry out her vision with unique elements like buttons and burlap. Their creation was beautiful and chic. It shows you that a little innovation and passion is all it takes to create something different.  It is inspiring.

I again love the one of the bride alone in the grass... very nice !

Toni:

I would never trust an event in our lives to anyone but Jeff and Julia. They have a way of making you feel like you were never looking through the eye of a camera lens, but rather that you were somehow eavesdropping on a private event. Once again, you have touched my heart with the magic of your vision, the retelling of an event as only you have "seen" it. I appreciate reliving it over and over. You guys are now and always will be the originals. With love, Toni

Me again. I was absolutely thrilled with your commentary about me and the VIP girls, but alas, we cannot take credit for the design. The bride dreamed it, and we executed it, in part. All credit for design go to Brittney. We are just shy background people. Thanks again!

Thanks for making the flowers look good. We knew you would. Nate & Brittney were a delight!

We have had the privilege of being a part of some of Katie's biggest moments in life. Six years ago we photographed her senior pictures and on this day we got to see her walk down that aisle. It's such an honor when we are allowed to part of not only one special event, but two. We wish Katie and Ben all the best.

The wedding reception withstood a massive tornado that was off in the distance. What a exciting way to start off life together!

Julia and I always love to find out how the couple met and with out a doubt this story that will tug on your heart strings. I could not of even begin to tell you the viewer this story so I asked the bride to tell it. She was more then happy to tell you all her story of the two new men in her life and the story of the little boy who proposed before the daddy did!

"We feel that God is the one who directly brought us to each other and He revealed our love for one another in some pretty amazing ways!  For one, my brother in law, Eric, had a vision of us being together a year before I ever moved to Bloomington.  At that point he and my sister, Heather, began to pray for us.  During that time, Andy's family was also praying for him, that he would meet someone special.  Approximately one year after, I met Andy and interacted with him at a family cook-out.  From that moment, our relationship grew slowly and we officially had our first date a year and a half from first meeting.  Drew was sweet from the beginning, and as the story says, he proposed before his daddy did.  Drew had brought up the subject with his daddy, one night at bed time.  He asked his dad if his mommy was in heaven, who would his mommy on the earth be? Andy was surprised, and glad to talk with him openly about this.  Andy asked Drew if he had any ideas of who he would like for a mommy and Drew replied Christin, she would be real good!  Andy asked Drew to wait until the time was right, before asking me....but Drew couldn't contain his excitement! As soon as he saw me at church the next morning, he ran up to me and asked if I would be his mommy, since his was in heaven.  It was a very emotional moment for me, and one that gave confirmation from God that this relationship was moving in the right direction.....a couple months later I had a sparkly ring on my finger.  :)  Drew told me my ring was very sprinkly. :)"

Corrine and Chuck are no strangers to our blog and for that matter one of the biggest wedding blogs in the country Style Me Pretty. SMP showcased their engagement session back in August of last year. I did not doubt for a minute that on their wedding day it was going to have so much emotion. Corrine was just one of those brides that you could tell there was going to be some tears. Thats why we love this job so much! We even start to cry. We take every wedding to heart. To us every bride and groom that we photograph become a part of our family as well. Chuck and Corrine are such beautiful people on the inside as well as the outside. Julia and I have enjoyed getting to know them very well over the last year. Even-though Chuck is a little shy in front of the camera whenever Corrine is around he lights up like a kid in a candy store. We wish you two nothing but the best and that your life together will be a happy one.

A big thanks also goes out to Renny Pedersen of Bliss Events. She did a fantastic job planning/decorating this special wedding.
