The day got underway with a ceremony at St. Clement Church which was followed by a beautiful reception at the Harold Washington Library. It was a wonderful evening of laughter, relationship and celebration. Ali Phillips of Engaging Events by Ali and her team did a fabulous job pulling everything together in way that seemed effortless.
We wish Mike and Ashley a lifetime of continued love and friendship.
John and Tracy hold a very special place in our hearts. If you have ever been to our studio, visited our Venue (our art gallery and wine bar), or ever been inside our home. Then you have met Tracy. She was the interior designer behind all those space. She has been like family to Julia and I over the years. We were so excited to hear that this long awaited marriage was finally going to happen. As we met with John (the special man that we had heard Tracy speak so highly of for so many years) we once again were surprised at how small this world really is. John had helped us with cabinetry in one of our older homes.
John's two children, Niall and Olivia hold a very special place in our hearts as well as we have gotten to know them over the years while photographing family and senior portraits. They are both outstanding young people and just a lot of fun to be around. You don't see to many brothers and sisters who actually act like they like each other.
John and Tracy were married on March 17th and have all the luck of the Irish on their side. But we would like to add a little more and wish them all the best in their new life together. We could not be happier to know our Tracy is in good hands.

(06.08.11 @ 03:59 PM)Ashley & Adam celebrated the end of one year and the start of another with a lot of very special friends and family at the Ritz Carlton in Naples. The festivities couldn't have been more perfect as the breathtaking Ashley and handsome Adam exchanged their wedding vows amidst a beautifully draped tent, complete with chandeliers, stain glass windows, a full choir, a petal covered isle and enough love to bring tears to the many viewers of loved ones. As the sunset on the Ritz, the celebration began with cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres, followed by toasts, dinner and hours of fun filled dancing accompanied by the amazing 70's band "Right On." As most wedding receptions end at that point, this one was just shifting into high gear as the guest were drawn outside to enjoy more cocktails, sangria shots, a fire breather, a stilt walker, marshmallow roasting, and an amazing firework show at midnight. With hearts warm and full of New Year cheer, everyone made their way back inside, where they were met by two awe inspiring red lit cherry blossom trees which brought the perfect balance to a room glowing of soft teal and with white plush leather seating to rest as needed while "Right On" continued to rock the early morning hours. The feast of fun foods, like donuts, churro's, a chocolate fountain, burgers, and fries, was perfect for the needed energy. It was a celebration to never be forgotten. We wish Ashley & Adam, along with their three lovely girls, a lifetime of happiness and joy in 2011 and through out their future!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't get better than that. I so wish they would have had this style of photography when I got married 12 years ago. Can I book you for 2023 when my kids get married? Such beautiful work. I know I've said it once, but the images with the video truly takes my breath away.
