Julia brings back some hardware from China

We were both honored to be a part of PPA PHoto Asia. As we traveled over to a new culture for a our first time in Asia. We loved the people, the culture and off course the food! We spoke at the convention for 4 days to a packed house of about 300 enthusiastic Chinese photographers. All with a passion for photography that I am not sure I have ever seen. Then to top things off Julia and I attended the awards banquet and to our surprise my beautiful wife brings home an award for 1st place in the wedding category. Such a huge honor. We are eager to go back and be a part of PPA Asia again next year. Below is the image that won and my wonderful wife out in font of the Expo Center where the image was display at about 100-ft tall. I tried to check it in as a carry on. ;)

Mike + Melissa {Chicago Wedding Photographer}

November 12, 2010 //

What a beautiful fall wedding. Mike and Melissa days was filled with such emotion. Julia and I knew that it was going to be special when we set up a special shot with John (the father of the bride) to see his beautiful daughter for their special "first look". He could not hold back the tears (to be honest we could not either). Then to see Mike wipe away the his tears as he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. In a day that always has emotion it was refreshing to see it on display with a two sets of families truly enjoying a special day that was felt with the heart. Todd + Erikka {Peoria Wedding Photographer}

It was a beautiful Saturday in October when Erikka & Todd celebrated their love with a ceremony at First Federated church and a reception to follow at Embassy Suites.

This couple met by chance, but soon knew their relationship was to be much more than just a one time meeting. As they have experienced very busy lives with a lot of changes over the past year, it has only increased the depth of the relationship. You don't have to be around them long to sense the quiet depth of love and respect they share for each other. We wish them all the best as they continue to experience life together as husband and wife.
